Defence Ministry Recruitment 2018: The 56 Infantry Divisional Ordnance Unit of the Ministry of defence has invited applications for the posts of Tradesman. The last date for submission of the application is June 23. There 9 posts open for recruitment. The selected candidates will be recruited in the Pay Band of Rs 18000 plus other allowances as admissible to the central government employees.
Educational qualification:
The candidates must hold Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent certificate from any recognized board and they should have knowledge of Hindi.
Physical test:
The candidates should be able to complete 1.5 Km run in 6 minutes and should be able to carry a weight of 50 kgs to a distance of 200 mtres in 100 seconds. Physical test is mandatory, and candidates who clears the physical test only be permitted to appear for the written test. There will be no interview.
Applications received after the due date will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained. More than one application submitted by the candidates for the same post will lead to cancellation of the application.

The Candidates have seal the application properly in an envelope and have to mention the post applied for. The applications can be sent through ordinary/Registered Post/ Speed Post and application in person will not be accepted. Candidates have to superscribe the word “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF THE TRADESMAN MATE’’ and CATEGORY- GEN/OBC/SC/ST on the top of envelope while sending the application form.
