De De Pyaar De has logged an upward surge in earnings at the domestic box office, garnering Rs 6.19 crore on the fourth day (Monday) of its release. Though the film started on a dull note on Friday (April 17), it has picked up the pace on weekend. On Friday, the film grossed Rs 10.41 crore but on Saturday it earned Rs 13.39 crore. On Sunday it gained Rs 14.74 crore. Total earnings of the movie stand at 44.73 cr at the box office.

De De Pyaar De was expected to mint Rs 10 crore on the weekday but it has performed below expectations. However, strong word-of-mouth and good performances by the actors are driving the audience to theatres to watch the film.

De De Pyaar De plots around a 50-year-old businessman Ashish (Ajay Devgn) who is in love with a 26-year-old engineer Ayesha (Rakul Preet Kaur). The story starts when Ashish makes Ayesha meet his family and his wife, played by Tabu.
