Rapid covid cases surge in the country is the major reason the government has allowed everyone above 18 years of age to get vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.

Around 90 lakh people in this category will be eligible for the jabs and five vaccination booths each have been set up at 77 schools for the inoculation exercise. At present, coronavirus vaccine jabs are being given to those aged above 45 at around 500 centres in the national capital, the Zee Media Bureau reported.
The documentation procedure for vaccination will remain the same as it’s for the above 45 years age group. The confirmation will come on the registered mobile number on registration. The person would get an appointment date, wherein he/she have to registration receipt and photo ID to get vaccinated.
How and where to register:
People above 18 years of age will have to visit the Cowin app, Arogya Setu App or Cowin's website. There you enter your mobile number; an account would be created through an OTP. An Aadhaar card with a name, age, gender information required to be filled by the person while registering, vaccination center can be selected too. Moreover, the registration of senior citizens can also be done by merely dialing 1507.
WhatsApp head Will Cathcart tweeted in support of India and said that the messaging platform has partnered with health workers to operate helplines in the form of chatbots on the app. One of them is the MyGov Corona Helpdesk chatbot, which was unveiled in 2021 has now been updated to help you find a vaccination centre.
In terms of its functioning, to use the MyGov Corona Helpdesk chatbot, a user needs to save the number +919013151515 and then start chatting by writing “Namaste” and wait for a while and then the user gets an automated response and it asks users to send their PIN code.
After a user enters the six-digit code and hits the send button, the chatbot will send out a list of vaccination centres near them. There is an alternate way also as users can also visit wa.me/919013151515 which will take them directly to the chatbot.
Also, Tech companies like Google are trying their best to make things easy and hence added a feature to find the nearest COVID-19 vaccination centre to Maps.
Besides Google Maps, there are two other ways to find the nearby vaccine centre. To find the COVID-19 vaccination centre via Google Maps: All you need to do is head to Google Maps and find the centre by just a simple search.
Once you search for the COVID-19 vaccination centre, Google Maps will show all vaccination centres near you on the map. Interestingly, Google Maps also show if the centre is open or not.
