Covid 19: India records 3,207 coronavirus cases, 29 deaths in past 24 hours
According to the Union Health Ministry, there were 3,207 new cases of Covid-19 in India in the past 24 hours, a marginal decline from 3,451 the previous day.

A total of 29 Covid deaths have been reported, bringing the nationwide death toll to 5,24,093.
The number of active cases in the country currently stands at 20,403, which accounts for 0.05 per cent of the total positive cases.
In the last 24 hours, 3,410 patients have been rehabilitated, bringing the cumulative total to 4,25,60,905. Therefore, India's recovery rate is 98.74 per cent.
In the meantime, the daily positivity rate is 0.95 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 0.82 per cent.
A total of 3,36,776 tests were conducted across the country during the same period, bringing the total to 84.10 crore.
A total of 2,36,58,273 Covid vaccinations have been administered in India as of Monday morning.
Approximately 3.05 crore adolescents have received their first dose of the vaccine since the vaccination drive for this age group began.
