Talk about today, 2483 new cases of corona infection were registered in the last 24 hours in two countries. Whereas just a few days ago, the daily new cases had come down to 800.

Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan will also give a presentation on the current situation of Coronavirus. PM Modi will connect with the Chief Ministers of all the states and the Lieutenant Governors of the Union Territories through a virtual meeting and review the preparations. Significantly, in the last few days, there has been a sharp jump in the cases of Covid-19 in 12 states of the country.
Also, booster dose will also be discussed in this virtual meeting. All the states can be asked to make a separate strategy for booster doses. In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the emphasis is already on testing. In this meeting, PM Modi will also advise the states to move forward with the strategy of the test, track and treat.
After this meeting with PM Modi, all the states will issue a new SoP regarding Covid-19 at their level. In this meeting, adequate stock of vaccines, policy to prevent the vaccine from getting spoiled, essential medicine, oxygen etc. i.e. the entire health infrastructure will be reviewed.
Significantly, according to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on April 26, 2022 morning, 2483 new cases of infection have been registered in the last 24 hours. At present, there are a total of 15 thousand 636 active cases in the country, and the daily positivity rate is also 0.55 per cent.
