Co-working space providers believe that growing co-working business can play an impactful role on India's job numbers. Elaine Tsung, CEO and Founder, Garage Society believes that co-working can be an impactful business for job creation as in last 10-20 years, there has been a lot of technological advancement and being a young population, Indians have a better chance of settling themselves into several roles.
''Young generation understands technology better and they have that intellectual capital to get jobs with this new advancement. We provide platform to start a company, a youngster who wants to setup a company does not need to worry about formalities or hesitations to build or rent an office space. Flexibility, affordability and ease of starting a company helps in job creation," Tsung told Zee Business Online.

Co-working provides infrastructure like office spaces, physical requirements, employee needs, working environment, office facilities and other ad-hoc services that help business and its owners to focus more on functioning. In this way, it help companies to focus more on hiring, product development, customer services, creativity, ideas etc. Which will eventually have an impact on generation of new jobs.
Sharing an instance, Tsung said, ''We provide infrastructure that facilitates job creation. We have a lot of clients who say, you focus on office functioning, office operations etc and we will focus on hiring, business strategies and insights. So, I think, this is how we help creating jobs, country wide.''

It is not only a space to share an office, in fact it is a platform for youngsters who want to run their startups, teams, businesses and freelancing activities, at effective cost with maximum benefits. It provides a foundation to next gen thinkers to make an early start.
Adding on how co-working facilitate job creation, Prashant Garg, Country Head (India), Garage Society mentioned, ''As a co-working provider, we facilitate spaces to freelancers, startups and MNCs too. A company need not worry, whether it has 4 employees or 300, they can get a space and start working here. This, I think open channels for more jobs to a great extent.''
