CISF Recruitment 2019: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released a recruitment notification to invite applications from interested candidates for multiple positions of Constable (Tradesman) category. Candidates would be able to submit their application from September 23, and they must do so before the last date of October 22, 2019. According to the notification, “Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up the following temporary posts of CONSTABLE (TRADESMEN) in the Central Industrial Security Force in the trade of Cook, Cobbler, Barber, Washer-man, Carpenter, Sweeper, Painter, Mason, Plumber, Mali & Electrician in the Level 3 of pay matrix 21,700 to 69,100/- plus usual allowances admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time."
As per the official notification, the candidates will be governed under the CISF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the force and other Acts and Rules applicable from time to time. After their appointment, they will be covered by “New Restructured Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (New Pension Scheme)” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government Services with effect from 01.01.2004,” the notification added.

Educational Qualification
Interested candidates should have passed 10th Class or its equivalent from a recognised board for skilled trades including Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Carpenter, Electrician, Mason, Mali, Painter, Plumber and Washer Man. The candidates with Industrial Training Institute training will be preferred.
For unskilled trades like Sweeper, candidates should have Matriculation or its equivalent degree a recognized board.
Application fee
Candidates belonging to UR, OBC and EWS category will have to pay Rs 100, while Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-servicemen category candidates are exempted from paying any fee.
Age Limit
Interested candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2019.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), followed by documentation and Trade Test, written exams and Medical test.
