CIP Ranchi Recruitment 2018: Apply for these posts; Check last date, educational qualification

CIP Ranchi Recruitment 2018: The Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) Ranchi has invited applications for the recruitment of as many as 93 positions of multi-tasking staff. Those who are interested should be class 10th  pass. The candidates will have take a written examination, followed by physical test and skill test. The candidates are advised to submit their application in the prescribed format available on the official website- cipranchi.nic.in, as the last date for the same is January 19, 2019. 

According to the notification, candidates are also required to enclose self-attested copies of documents supporting educational/ professional qualification, experience, registration, caste, etc. along with the application form.

Age limit: The minimum age of candidates should be 18 years and their maximum age should not exceed 25 years.

Selection process: Candidates have to take a written test that will consist of 100 questions and candidates will be allowed 1.30 hours time to attempt the paper. The merit list will be finalised on the scores obtained by candidates in the written examination.

Notably, physical test and skill test will be qualifying in nature, as the results of these two tests will be declared on the same day.

Other vacancies positions include Carpenter-3, Cook- 1, Staff Car Driver-2, and Weaver-2 posts.

Central Institute of Psychiatry, which is situated in Kanke, Ranchi in Jharkhand, is directly governed by the central government. Established on May 17, 1918 as 'Ranchi European Lunatic Asylum', it had then a capacity of 174 patients (92 males and 82 females), catering to the needs of European mental patients only.

At present, the Institute is affiliated to Ranchi University, and admission to its various courses is conducted through open advertisement. The candidates are selected by a Selection Committee constituted by the Director General of health Services, New Delhi.
