Chhichhore Box Office collection: Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor film soars to over Rs 61.33 cr

Chhichhore Box Office collection: Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Chhichhore' has received rave reviews, and the critics have given it a big thumbs up along with the audience. The filmmaker, Nitesh Tiwari, of 'Dangal' on is on cloud 9 as the film has reportedly done a robust earning of Rs 61.33 cr in its India business.

A romantic comedy, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, 'Chhichhore' has several known faces including Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey, Siddharth Narayan and Nalneesh Neel among others. The film happens to be Sushant and Shraddha's first movie together and people seem to have appreciated their on-screen chemistry.

Film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh shared the collection figures on Twitter and wrote, "#Chhichhore continues its winning streak... The super-strong hold on weekdays increases its chances of hitting ₹ cr... Fri 7.32 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.41 cr, Mon 8.10 cr, Tue 10.05 cr, Wed 7.20 cr. Total: ₹ 61.33 cr. #India biz."

The Nitesh Tiwari directorial got a opening day collection of Rs 7.32 crore but witnessed a jump on its collection on the second day. The film's box office collection was helped by positive word of mouth and less competition to earn Rs 12.25 crore on Saturday, taking its overall collection to Rs 19.57 crore on Day 2.
