Chhattisgarh Police has invited application for 655 posts of Subedar, Sub-Inspector, and Platoon Commander. The last date of application was earlier September 16 which has been extended to October 15. The department has also notified some relaxation in the age limit and physical measurement for ST candidates.

Application Fee: Rs 400 for General and OBC and Rs 200 for SC/ST candidates.

Age limit: Maximum 31 years and minimum 18 years. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and OBC candidates. 10 years relaxation for female candidates.

Eligibility:
* A candidate should be Graduate if applying for the posts of Subedar/Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander/Sub-Inspector (Special Branch).

* A candidate should have B.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry if applying for Sub-Inspector (Finger Print).

* A candidate should have BCA or B.Sc. (Computer) degree if applying for Sub-Inspector (Computer) posts.

* A candidate should have Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering if applying for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication).
 
Interested candidates may apply online through the Chattisgarh Police official website www.cgpolice.gov.in till 15.10.2018.

Selection process: The selection process will have two steps - Written test and physical test. First, the candidates will have to clear the physical test which includes 1500 metre running for male candidates and 800 metre for female candidates. The male candidates will have 5 minutes 40 seconds to complete the race while the female candidates will have 3 minutes 20 seconds.
