Challenge is to grow in double digits, says new MoS Finance Meghwal
Prime Minister shuffled and expanded his ministers on Tuesday June 5, 2016.
Jayant Sinha, who was the Minister of State Finance has been moved to Civil Aviation Ministry in the same role and his position at the finance ministry has been filled by Arjun Ram Meghwal.
Zee Business spoke to the new minister and asked him about the challenges for the Indian economy.
Meghwal said that the challenge is to grow in double digits.

Meghwal said that the benefit of economic development must reach the last mile. He said that the Government will strive to ensure that the benefits of PMJDY, Mudra and other Social Security Schemes should reach the common man.
He said despite world economy slowing down, India still manage to grow at 7.6%. He said that the Government’s priorities include to speed-up the process of economic growth and make all out efforts to achieve the goal of development so that poor and vulnerable sections of our society are benefitted.
