Centrally-sponsored Schemes Budget 2025: The FY26 Budget Estimate (BE) has revised with over 30 per cent of allocations modified compared to the FY25 Revised Estimate (RE). The new BE entails a total outlay of Rs 54.18 lakh crore which will be distributed across various ministries, including the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Cooperation, and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. These ministries have sought increased funding for public welfare initiatives, such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban 2.0, National Urban Digital Mission (NUDM), and PM-eBus Sewa Scheme. The budget allocations for these departments and schemes have been revised under the 'Centrally Sponsored Scheme'.
