Carrying answer sheets in metro: CBSE asks exam centres to ensure safe delivery
A lawyer, Tarun Narang, had yesterday written to the CBSE examination controller after he spotted a private school employee with the packed answer sheets in the metro.
The CBSE today directed examination centres to ensure safe delivery of answer books to its headquarters after an official of a private school in the national capital was found carrying answer sheets of Class XII chemistry exam in Delhi Metro. The board, however, clarified that secrecy of the answer books in the particular case has not been compromised with and the sanctity of examination has been maintained.
"The board has issued detailed guidelines to centre superintendents, which includes safe delivery of answer books. They have been asked to personally ensure that such instances are not repeated," a senior official of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said."It has also been verified that the secrecy of the answer books has not been compromised with and sanctity of the examination has been maintained," the official added.

I was commuting from Dwarka Court Metro station to Janakpuri around 3 pm. I noticed a man carrying a sealed parcel containing answer sheets of the Class XII chemistry paper, he said in the complaint letter.
"When I asked him, he said he had been sent by the examination superintendent to drop the sheets to the CBSE headquarters in Preet Vihar," Narang had said.
