State-owned Oil Companies have been maintaining a status quo on fuel products sold in India. Both petrol and diesel prices in metro cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi have been kept unchanged since June 26, as per data given by Indian Oil. This would mean you are still paying expensive rates for fuel products. Interestingly, the private carrier Jet Airways in a major good news has launched a platform called as JPMiles, which can help you earn a free flight ticket from them. The airline on its official website mentioned that, ‘Earn JPMiles every time you fill fuel at one of our partner outlets.”

Here’s how Jet Airways - Indian Oil offer works.

All JetPrivilege members are eligible to earn JPMiles at participating IOCL outlets, unless your JetPrivilege membership account has been blocked as per JetPrivilege’s fair use policy.

All JetPrivilege members with verified mobile number and e-mail ID are eligible to redeem JPMiles at participating IOCL outlets, unless your JetPrivilege membership account has been blocked as per JetPrivilege’s fair use policy.

How to avail offer?

It easy! At a participating IOCL outlet, please inform the IOCL attendant that you are a JetPrivilege member. Remember to share your JetPrivilege membership card or quote your JetPrivilege membership number. The IOCL attendant will swipe your JetPrivilege membership card or manually input your JetPrivilege membership number.

In case of JPMiles accrual, upon the confirmation of a successful transaction, a charge slip will be generated from the loyalty terminal confirming that JPMiles for the transaction will be credited in your JetPrivilege membership account. Please retain this copy for future reference. In case a charge slip is not generated, try again or contact the JetPrivilege Service Centre for assistance.

In case of JPMiles redemption, you will receive a SMS on your verified mobile number with an OTP. Input this OTP on the loyalty terminal available with the IOCL attendant. Upon successful transaction, a charge slip will be generated from the loyalty terminal confirming redemption. Please retain this copy for future reference. In case a charge slip is not generated, try again or contact the JetPrivilege Service Centre for assistance.

On purchase of XtraPremium fuel, you will earn 3 JPMiles for every INR 150 spent at the IOCL outlet. For all other types of fuel purchase, you will earn 1 JPMile for every INR 150 spent at the outlet. Please note that JPMiles accrued will be rounded to the nearest integer.

You can earn JPMiles on fuel spends worth INR 5,000 daily and INR 20,000 monthly.

JPMiles will be credited into your JetPrivilege membership account within 24 hours of a successful transaction and you will receive a confirmation on your registered e-mail ID.

Currently, in India, 1 litre petrol is available at Rs 75.55 in Delhi, Rs 78.23 in Kolkata, Rs 82.94  in Mumbai and Rs 78.4 in Chennai. While 1 litre diesel is at Rs 67.38 in Delhi, Rs 69.93 in Kolkata, Rs 71.52 in Mumbai and Rs 71.12 in Chennai.
