BSNL takes on Reliance Jio, Airtel in style! Get unlimited data, voice calls for less than Rs 8/day; Here's how

Now, you can get unlimited data and voice call facility for less that Rs 8/day during the ongoing festive season, thanks to BSNL.  Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new low cost tariff voucher, starting at just Rs 78.

The special recharge option has been launched to attract more users in this ongoing festive season. The plan benefits are unlimited data, unlimited voice calls and many more. BSNL has also revamped its previous recharge offers in different circles of availability as per technical feasibility.
 
The Rs 78 plan gives access to unlimited data, unlimited voice calls and unlimited video calls for 10 days. The new data combo voucher has been introduced to connect people across India, to their relatives, family and friends during the festive season. The plan is valid only in BSNL's circle area from 15 October.

In the aforementioned plan, browsing speed will be reduced to 80kb/sec after reaching 2GB of data usage. Kerala is the only telecom circle where one can avail 4G services of BSNL. Other circles provide only 3G connectivity. According to sources, the telecom company is planning to upgrade to 4G this month.

BSNL has made some changes to it's previous plans of Rs29 and Rs9 and reintroduced it with new benefits and validity. Rs 29 pack is now offering unlimited local or STD voice calls along with 1GB data and 300 SMS for 7 days, valid at home/national roaming ecxept Delhi and Mumbai. Techiyogiz reported, the plan also supports free PRBT (Personalized Ring back Tone).

Where, Rs 9 pack will give access to unlimited local and STD calls with 100 SMS and 100 MB data for 1 day at home/ national roaming except Delhi and Mumbai.
