BRO recruitment 2019: Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications for 778 Driver Mechanical Transport, Electrician and various other posts. The last date for submission of the application form is July 16, 2019. The applicants may apply in the prescribed format before the last date of submission of the application for Driver Mechanical Transport, Electrician and various other positions.

The candidates should go through the official notification issued by the  Border Roads Organisation before applying for Driver Mechanical Transport, Electrician and various other positions. The applicants must make sure that they fulfil all the required eligibility criteria for the aforesaid posts. The candidates who do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria, their application will be rejected. They have to follow all the instructions stated in the official notification while applying for these posts.

Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade): 388vposts
Electrician: 101 posts
Vehicle Mechanic: 92 posts
Multi Skilled Worker (Cook): 197 posts

Educational qualifications:
Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade): The candidates should have at least Matriculation certificate from any recognised Board or equivalent. They should hold a heavy Motor vehicle driving licence.

Electrician: The applicants should hold a Matriculation certificate from any recognised Board or equivalent. They should hold a certificate of auto electrician from ITI or equivalent institution.

Vehicle Mechanic: The applicants should hold at least Matriculation certificate from recognised Board or equivalent. They should hold a Mechanic in Motor Vehicle/Diesel /Heat Engine certificate.

Multi Skilled Worker (Cook): The candidates should have a Matriculation certification from any recognised Board or equivalent. They should qualify in the proficiency test in the trade by Border Roads Organisation.

Age limit:
For the posts of Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade), Electrician, and Vehicle Mechanic, the candidates should be between 18 years and 27 years of age. 

For the positions of Multi Skilled Worker (Cook), the candidates should be between 18 years and 25 years of age.
