Booking train tickets at irctc.co.in? Get 10% discount; here is how

Planning to travel via train? If so, and you are going to book tickets using the IRCTC website irctc.co.in, then this news is just for you. Travellers can now avail various discounts on train tickets booked via IRCTC website. These discounts are being offered by leading digital financial service platforms including Mobikwik and Paytm.

MobiKwik has announced an offer for the upcoming festive season. The company said in a statement, "Mobikwik promises up to 10% discount on train ticket bookings. All users who book their train tickets with the IRCTC app or website can avail this offer when they make payments via the MobiKwik app. The users will be eligible to use their SuperCash balance to get up to 10% instant discount on their rail e-ticket booking amount," said .

Not only Mobikwik, Paytm Mall is also offering a flat cashback of Rs 100 if you pay using Paytm on IRCTC for train tickets. However, you will be able to avail this discount only by using Promo Code 'TR100' while booking a movie ticket.

On the other hand, Freecharge is also offering 25% cashback up to Rs 50 on train ticket booking via IRCTC. The scheme is valid once per user. This offer is valid till August 31, 2018.

Flipkart's PhonePe is also offering cashback up to Rs 100 cashback on ticket booking from IRCTC Android App. It claims to give flat Rs 50 cashback on first two transactions.

* Search for your train and click on book ticket
* Fill in travellers' details
* Enter captcha code and proceed for payment
* In the payment mode listed on your left, choose 'Wallet/Cash card'
* In the wallet category, choose from Paytm, Freecharge or Mobikwik to avail the offer

Mobikwik offers are valid separately on both the IRCTC Rail Connect App and IRCTC website.

IRCTC has recently launched its revamped website. It also offers ''book now, pay later'' option for rail tickets. So, if you are short of money, you can book the tickets now and can pay in the next 14 days.
