The N.F. Railway has decided to run four Special Trains to and from Tangani to facilitate people to join the inaugural function of Bogibeel bridge on December 25. The trains will run from Gogamukh in Lakhimpur district and Murkongselek in Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border.

NFR Chief public relations officer P.J. Sharma said the steps are being taken assuming that a large number of people would converge at the inauguration ceremony of the new bridge over the Brahmaputra. "The first special train will leave Murkongselek at 7 a.m. to arrive at Tangani at 9.30 am with stoppages at Telam, Simen Chapari, Sripani. The train will have 18 coaches and while returning from Tangani, it will run on flexible timings," he said.

"The second special train will leave Murkongselek at 8.15am to arrive at Tangani at 10.15 am with stoppages at Laimekuri and Sripani. The train will have 17 coaches and while returning from Tangani, it will run on flexible timings," he added. "Similarly, the third Special Train will leave Gogamukh at 7.30am to arrive at Tangani at 9am with stoppages at Bordoloni and Dhemaji. 

The fourth special train will leave Gogamukh at 8.30am to arrive at Tangani at 9.55 am with stoppages at Moridhal and Sripani.  He said open timings of the trains are planned as the duration of the public meeting to be addressed by the Prime Minister is not known. Passengers are requested to contact Tangani station for departure time of the trains.
