BJP Sankalp Patra for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 reiterates to build Ram Temple at Ayodhya, scrapping of the special status to J&K, implementing uniform civil code etc.
For the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, making a mix of its nationalist agenda along with offers to attract the public as well as farmers, the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its poll manifesto, which it says is actually a 'Sankalp Patra' and not a manifesto. It vows to scrap special status for Jammu & Kashmir. Also, it says that 75 new medical colleges and postgraduate colleges will be established, Rs 6,000 yearly income support to farmers and pension to small and marginal farmers above 60 years of age, as well as spend Rs 25 lakh crore on rural development over the next five years, etc.
Addressing the gathering at the launch, national president of the 'party with difference' Amit Shah said, "BJP makes 75 pledges in the manifesto for upcoming Lok Sabha elections." Speaking on the launch of BJP manifesto Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, "BJP manifesto not prepared with tukde tukde mindset but with strong nationalist vision. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said, "It's Modi who understands the aspirations of India, not the Congress President Rahul Gandhi."
