Bihar Lockdown News Today: After reviewing the status of corona infection, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has made some new announcement on Monday, June 21, regarding the relaxation of lockdown restrictions in the state.

From June 23 to July 6, the government and non-government offices will function with 100 per cent attendance, the CM has tweeted.

Shops will be open till 7 PM, and night curfew will be in force from 9 PM to 5 AM.

The CM tweeted "Reviewed the status of corona infection. From June 23 to July 6, government and non-government offices will function with 100 per cent attendance, shops will open till 7 PM, night curfew will be in force from 9 PM to 5 AM.

He further added that parks and gardens will be open from 6 AM to 12 noon. However, he mentioned that one needs to be careful. 

On May 31, 2021, the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government extended the COVID-19 lockdown in the state till June 8, 2021. However, certain relaxations were granted by the state government to the business activities.  

This was earlier done on social media after he chaired a meeting of the crisis management group that comprises his cabinet colleagues and top officials. 

Bihar has registered 7.2 lakh total cases as of June 20, 2021. The recovered cases were 7.07 lakh and total deaths were 9,550.
