Bihar Cabinet Expansion, Ministers List 2022 New: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday expanded his two-member Cabinet by inducting over two-dozen new Ministers. Kumar along with Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) Tejashwi Yadav had on August 10 took oath as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister after the former snapped ties with the BJP and joined the ranks with RJD.

As many as 30 new Ministers joined the Nitish Kumar's Cabinet from different constituents of the 'Mahagathbandhan' or the Grand Alliance of seven parties -- JD(U), RJD, Congress, HAM, CPI(ML), CPI and CPI(M). The RJD has scored big in the just held Cabinet expansion exercise, bagging 15 ministerial berths (excluding the deputy CM Tejashwi).
