Finally, the long wait has come to an end. Bihar Board Class 10th Result 2020 has been declared! The candidates can check the result in biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and onlinebseb.in. The Bihar School Education Board has already declared the result for Class 12 Science, Arts and Commerce Stream of Bihar Board. Students who have appeared for the examination got their results in March. This year, a total of 12,04,834 students appeared in the intermediate examination, out of which 6,56,301 boys and 5,48,533 were girls. Furthermore, a total of 4,43,284 students have passed in the first class, 4,69,439 students in the second class and 56,115 students in the third class.

The state government has decided to felicitate 10 toppers of Class 10 and 12. Matric toppers will get Rs 1,200 per month for two years to pursue higher secondary education. The students will have to score at least 60 per cent marks in Class 11 to be eligible for the scholarship in Class 12. 

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna is a statutory body under section 3 of Bihar School Examination Act - 1952 which is functioning under Government of Bihar devised to conduct examinations at secondary and senior secondary standard in both government and private schools belonging to the state of Bihar on the basis of syllabus as prescribed by the Government of Bihar.

It is headquartered at the capital of the state, Patna. In addition to school examinations, it also conducts departmental examinations such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Bihar state, Examination for Diploma in Elementary Education etc.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducts secondary and senior secondary school examinations twice a year. 1st is the annual board examinations in February–March and the 2nd is a supplementary examination held in August–September of every year.
