BIG REVELATIONS! Mehul Choksi gifted fake diamond ring to girlfriend Barbara Jarabica, used false identity

Mehul Choksi’s girlfriend Barbara Jarabica has made a big revelation about the fugitive diamantaire. Barbara said that Choksi used to meet her with some other name. She said that Choksi introduced himself as ‘Raj’. WION’s Sidhant Sibal spoke to Jarabica to know in detail what she had to say on her role in alleged abduction of Choksi.  

She also said that the diamond ring gifted to her by Choksi was fake.

Sibal said that in his 30-minute chat with Jarabica, she revealed that she was European and not Caribbean. He said that she revealed how she met Choksi last year and the relationship between the two, developed.  

Sibal said that she told him that her family was not aware about their relationship.

She also said that she was not present in Antigua when Choksi disappeared on 23 May from Antigua and was found in Dominica. She said that she was not present in the country and hence had no role in the alleged abduction of Choksi.

The clarification has come in the wake of a police complaint file by Choksi in Antigua alleging that Jarabica had a role in his abduction.  Sibal said that her statements have only convoluted the current situation.  

This is the first time when Jarabica has broken her silence as her name was dragged in this entire episode, he said.
