Uttarakhand Government has announced a stimulus package of Rs 205 crore for healthcare workers in the state for their contribution during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The information was also provided by the Uttarakhand Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on its official Twitter handle.

 

As per the information provided by DIPR, under this package, Asha and Anganwadi workers will get Rs 2000 per month for a period of 5 months. Group C and D workers of the health department will get Rs 3000, while the doctors will get Rs 10,000 this will help in benefiting around 61,000 workers.

 

Also, 1,120 Asha and Anganwadi workers will get one tablet each in order to help government schemes reach people digitally.

Ayurvedic and homeopathic kits will also be given to the workers in order to protect them Covid-19. As per the information, medical colleges will be established in Haridwar and Pithoragarh for which Rs 70-70 crore will be given in the current financial year.
