Family members of ministers should not interfere with government activities, he stated.

After the cabinet meeting, the CM addressed a special gathering, saying that IAS, IPS, and Provincial Civil Service officers should declare their and their family members' properties and make them available on an online platform for the public to see, PTI reported.

"For a healthy democracy, the conduct of public representatives is very important. According to this spirit, all the honourable ministers should make a public declaration of all movable and immovable property of themselves and their family members within a period of next three months after taking oath," Adityanath said.

He said, according to PTI, the code of conduct prescribed for the ministers should be followed in compliance with the provisions of the Representation of the People Act in letter and spirit.

"All ministers should ensure that there is no interference of their family members in the government work. We have to set an example by our conduct," he said.

A presentation of all the departments for the next 100 days, six months, and a five-year work plan has been done, the CM said.

"It should now be implemented on the ground," he said.

According to PTI, the CM directed all departments to guide officers to ensure completion of projects in a set time-frame.

"Under guidance of the Prime Minister, we all strive to fulfil the resolution of 'Antyodaya'," he said.

The CM has organised 18 groups to tour the state and meet with local leaders and notable individuals in each district to learn about their concerns. Each of the groups is led by a cabinet member, as per PTI said.

Before the next assembly session begins, he said, these ministers will complete a tour of the entire state.

"The group of 18 will visit all divisions beginning from Friday to Sunday," Adityanath said. There are 18 divisions in the state with 75 districts under them.

"In the first phase each group of ministers will be given responsibilities of different divisions on a rotational basis," he said.

During these three-day visits, each team will be required to spend at least 24 hours in each area, according to the CM.

According to him, the team's senior ministers should visit at least two districts, while the other ministers should take charge of one district each, said PTI.

Each group should hold a divisional review meeting while maintaining virtual connections with districts within each division.

During these visits, he also urged the ministers to engage with local legislators, former public officials, and party members to hear their views and try to address them.

Adityanath also proposed having a 'Jan Chaupal' to engage in direct communication with the "common man," as well as performing "surprise inspections" of development projects in blocks and tehsils.

According to PTI, ministers were also asked by the chief minister to perform "sahbhoj" (feast) in Dalit areas and slums.

All 18 teams were told to submit their reports to the CM's office for discussion and action in the cabinet.

"The team UP has presented a model of good government in the past five years under guidance of the PM. Now our competition is with ourselves and we have to strive for betterment," Adityanath said.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, he requested that all ministers stay in the state capital and tour the areas or districts they are in charge of from Friday through Sunday, said PTI.

Agra and Varanasi divisions have been allocated to Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak.
