On the opening day, the movie made Rs 15 crore at the box office, but on the second day, the collection fell to Rs 8.84 crore. However, on the third day (Saturday), it could manage to recover to Rs 10.90 crore.

"#BatlaHouse shows substantial growth on Day 3... Has been appreciated and that is reflecting in its numbers, despite a strong opponent... Should witness solid growth today [Sun]... Thu 15.55 cr, Fri 8.84 cr, Sat 10.90 cr. Total: ₹ 35.29 cr. India biz," film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted today.

The movie has been appreciated by the audience. It received good reviews from critics. John Abraham's act in the film has set him apart from the bunch of grumpy police officers. The movie is going along nicely even as the Akshay Kumar starrer is putting up the grand numbers.
