Bank holiday in November 2018 in India: After Diwali, there is a list of other festivals which are part of the extended festive season and on these occasions, a trip to your bank branch may prove to be fruitless. Of course, bank ATMs will be functional, but there is no guarantee that, if the machine runs out of money, it will be filled quickly. So, you may even have to come back empty-handed. So, though Diwali is over, the month of November has more festivals or national holidays in offing and these, paired with second Saturdays and Sundays, can mean that on many consecutive days, banking services will not be available.

Banks will remain closed on a number of days in this month. Therefore, the people who need to deposit or withdraw their money or undertake any other transaction from bank, need to check the list of holidays this month.

The dates may vary from one state to another. The banks will be closed on November 10 and November 11 as its a 2nd Saturday and Sunday.

After which on 13th November the occasion of Chhath Puja is celebrated in the states like Bihar. Hence banks will be shut in Bihar on 13 and 14th this month.

On 18th it is Sunday so the banks will be closed and then on 20th the festival of Eid e Milad is celebrated, so the bank will be closed in Kerala and on 21st Eid-e-Milad will be celebrated in Ahmedabad, Amravati, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and New Delhi so the bank will be closed in these regions too.

On 23rd of this month Guru Nanak Jayanthi is celebrated and henceforth the bank will be closed in Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Guwahati on this occasion.

On 24th it is Sunday and 25th November it is fourth Saturday so the bank will be closed again.​ Kanakadasa Jayanthi is celebrated on 26th November and bank will be closed in Bengaluru.
