Badla vs Captain Marvel - Box Office Collection Prediction: Amitabh Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu starrer to clash with Hollywood biggie
The crime thriller, Badla is expected to get a decent start on its release day, according to film analysts. However, the movie might face some competition from MCUs Captain Marvel which will be hitting theatres in India on the same day.
Badla, Captain Marvel box office collection prediction: The popular trio – Taapsee Pannu, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sujoy Ghosh have come again together to entertain the audience with their crime thriller - Badla, set to release this Friday. The movie is produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and is an official remake of the Spanish hit The Invisible Guest (2016). The crime thriller is expected to get a decent start on its release day, according to film analysts. However, the movie might face some competition from MCU’s Captain Marvel which will be hitting theatres in India on the same day.
Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel has predicted a Rs 2 to 3 crore opening day box office collection for Badla. He said, “The crime thriller has big names like Amitabh (Bachchan) and Taapsee (Pannu) attached to it, It is releasing on 900 to 950 screens.”
Captain Marvel has also created a lot of hype due to the fact that it is the first sole female-led film in the MCU. It is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and co-written by them with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Jac Schaeffer, led by Brie Larson.
Commenting upon Captain Marvel's day 1 prediction Kadel said, ''Captain Marvel is releasing on 1500 plus screens and is expected to earn around 4.5-5 crores on its day 1 at the box office.''
Badla's trailer has no doubt created a buzz among the movie lovers. The film has stars such as Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. ''The film's production cost is Rs 10 crore, while the total budget including publicity and printing is Rs 20 crore,'' said Kadel.
