Badhaai Ho vs Namaste England vs Helicopter Eela Collection: This festive season is a boon for Ayushmann Khurranna, as his film Badhaai Ho has crossed the Rs 50-cr mark in terms of box office collection on Day 5. The film is expected to do well till Diwali and thereafter too. Analysts predict that the film will cross Rs 65 cr in Week 1 itself. The film revolves around a middle-aged couple.  The cast includes Neena Gupta. The life of a middle class family is upended when the woman gets pregnant, much to the embarrassment of the entire family.

The movie has received rave reviews and praise by the audience. After earning Rs 7.35 cr on the opening day (Thursday, The film earned Rs 11.85 cr on the second day, Rs 12.80 cr on 3rd day, Rs 13.70 cr on Day 4 and, 5.65 cr on Monday, making Rs 51.35 cr.

Namaste England and Helicopter Eela, however, failed to make much headway at the box office.  Arjun Kapoor starrer romantic comedy film Namaste England only managed to earn Rs 7.05 cr and Helicopter Eela earned Rs 4.10 cr. This proves one point that Ayushmann Khurranna is a rising star in the film industry who can turn a film into a hit single-handedly. His other film in theatres currently, Andhadhun, which was released on October 5, too has done well at the box office, earning nearly Rs 60 cr.

"#BadhaaiHo is expected to rake in strong numbers till #TOH arrives in #Diwali... A big total is on the cards, but, of course, much depends on how it fares in Week 2... North India is FANTASTIC and should lead in coming days too," Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said.
