Badhaai Ho box office collection: Ayushmann Khurranna and Sanya Malhotra movie continues to make plenty of moolah at the box office, even as other films released around the same time like  Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Namaste England, and Kajol starrer Helicopter Eela could not really make the cut at the box office.

With Badhaai Ho movie, Ayushmann Khurranna proved his mettle and has emerged as one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. The  movie earned Rs 5.50 cr at the box office on Tuesday, making Rs 56.85 cr in all.

The film has received rave reviews and critical acclaim from critics and  audience. The story line is quite offbeat. Besides Ayushmann Khurranna and Sanya Malhotra, the movie also casts Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, and Surekha Sikri.

"#BadhaaiHo continues its dominance at the ticket windows... Tue biz is in same range as Mon, which is simply TERRIFIC... Thu 7.35 cr, Fri 11.85 cr, Sat 12.80 cr, Sun 13.70 cr, Mon 5.65 cr, Tue 5.50 cr. Total: ₹ 56.85 cr. India biz," Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said.

The film is expected to rake in strong numbers till Diwali. 

"#BadhaaiHo is expected to rake in strong numbers till #TOH arrives in #Diwali... A big total is on the cards, but, of course, much depends on how it fares in Week 2... North India is FANTASTIC and should lead in coming days too," he said earlier.

AndhaDhun, another Ayushmann Khurrana film, too has done well at the box office, collecting nearly Rs 60 crore.

Badhaai Ho opening week collections has surpassed Ayushmann Khurrana's previous films. According to Bollywood Hungama report, AndhaDhun collected Rs. 15 cr, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan collected Rs. 14.46 cr, Nautanki Saala collected Rs. 13.25 cr, Bareilly Ki Barfi collected Rs. 11.52 cr, and Vicky Donor collected Rs. 7.40 cr in the opening week.
