Baaghi 2 box office collection in the opening week has netted it an entry into the exclusive Rs 100 crore club and over and above that, within the span of 7 days, it has managed to score a total of Rs 112.85 crore. The film is looking good for much more and at the moment, it is eyeing the Rs 150 crore mark. With current trends, the film may just do that this week and that should set it up well for a major assault to try conquer mount Rs 200 cr. But all of that is in the future. The current state of the movie has seen it log one more big achievement. Baaghi 2 collection has beaten Ajay Devgn's latest release Raid over a certain period in terms of earnings. When compared with Raid over their earnings, what the statistics reveal is that Baaghi 2 has become the 2nd highest opening week grosser of 2018, muscling out the Ajay Devgn movie from that lofty perch.

This Ahmed Khan directorial and Disha Patani starrer has been performing wonders at the box office even as Ajay Devgn starrer Raid is coming to the end of its run in cinemas. Raid collection was Rs 63.05 cr in the opening week. Not just Devgn, even Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man has been pushed further back as it collected Rs 62.87 cr. Another seasonal surprise big achiever that has been beaten by Baaghi 2 is Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. It had collected Rs 45.94 cr. But that is where the success stops. And no, it did not manage to take over the No. 1 spot. That belongs to Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmavaat. Padmaavat had collected a massive Rs 166.50 crore in its opening week. Significantly, it featured 3 major stars, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.  

On the all-time highest grossers list in terms of opening week earnings, Baaghi 2 box office collection has managed to grab the 19th spot. On top of the list, of these 19 movies that are ahead of Tiger Shroff are, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion with Rs 247 cr, Sultan with Rs 229.16 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai with Rs 206.04 cr, Dangal with Rs 197.54 cr, Dhoom 3 with Rs 188.99 crore and so forth.
