Baaghi 2 box office collection brooks no stopping; Tiger Shroff sits atop Rs 135.35 cr pile now

Baaghi 2 box office collection: Tiger Shroff has delivered a gold mine to the filmmakers. His essaying the role of a muscle-bound action hero has grabbed the attention of the viewers and they are trooping in to cinemas without let up even aftyer the first week is over. In fact, Baaghi box office collection over the second weekend has soared as high as Rs 22.50 cr and that too from just 3000 screens. If readers recall, the original screen count for Baaghi 2 on release was 3500 screens in domestic market and even though this has reduced, the collection of the movie is still powering on to new highs. The movie had released in 625 screens overseas. Baaghi 2 box office collection now has reached Rs 135.35 crore mark. In the first 7 days, the movie collection had reached Rs 112.85 crore. 

This is happening even though a new film has hit the screens. Irrfan Khan starrer Blackmail released last Friday and it has taken some attention away from this Tiger Shroff starrer. However, the effect is not going to impact Baaghi 2 box office collection too much and that is already being seen - after all the second weekend has been massive for the movie! This will also set up the film very well for the current week as it has acquired a momentum that would be very difficult to slow down even though the working week and schools have started. Courtesy word of mouth boost, the film will keep on doing well at cinemas. What is amazing is that Baaghi collection is rising despite IPL 2018 starting! All the attention of the young and old in this cricket crazy country is now on the tournament and it is expected to hit the movie business hard. However, Baaghi has still managed to fight that initial attack off. Taran Adarsh reacted on Twitter and he posted this tweet: "#Baaghi2 is not slowing down soon, especially in mass pockets... What may well be certain is that Baaghi 2 box office collection is certain to reach the Rs 150 cr mark this week itself, all things being equal. And, after that, talk of the movie entering the super exclusive Rs 200 cr club will acquire traction.
