Ayodhya Police Area Officer (Traffic) Rajesh Tiwari said that six parking spaces located at Rampath and Bhakti Path have been reserved for the vehicles of VIPs. 1,225 vehicles of VVIP guests will be parked here.
Ayodhya will be lit with 10 lakh lamps on the evening of 22 January. Officials gave this information on Sunday. They told that 'Ram Jyoti' will be lit at houses, shops, establishments, and mythological places. He told that Ayodhya will be illuminated with lamps made of soil from the banks of the Saryu river.
Officials said that after the completion of the consecration ceremony, Diwali will be celebrated by lighting 'Ram Jyoti'. Regional Tourism Officer (RTO) Yadav said that on the evening of January 22, lamps will be lit at 100 major temples and public places and preparations for it have been completed. He told that if the lamps will be lit as per the intention of the government, the help of local potters is being taken and lamps are being purchased from them. Deepotsav started after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh in 2017 under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath.
Ayodhya city will be decorated with lamps
Officials said that after the consecration ceremony, the entire Ayodhya will be decorated with lamps. They said that lamps will be lit at 100 temples, major intersections, and public places including Ramlala, Kanak Bhawan, Hanumangarhi, Guptarghat, Saryu Beach, Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, and Maniram Das Cantonment.
Parking arrangements for more than 22000 vehicles
The Uttar Pradesh government has made arrangements at 51 places for parking the vehicles of the guests coming for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony on January 22.
An official said on Sunday that 22,825 vehicles can be parked in these parking lots. To ensure that no one has to wander for parking, parking spots have been uploaded on Google Map.
At the same time, parking spaces have also been reserved for VVIPs, VIPs and other guests. Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Traffic BD Paulson said that 51 places had been identified to park the vehicles of the guests coming for the Pran Pratistha programme in Ayodhya Dham. In these, about 22,825 vehicles can be parked simultaneously at a time. He told that there are five places on Rampath, one place on Bhakti Path Marg, four places on Dharma Path Marg, five places on Parikrama Marg, two places on Bandha Marg, Tedhi Bazaar on Rampath to Mahobra Marg, and Tedhi Bazaar on Rampath to Unwal Marg.
Seven places were marked for parking.
Apart from this, parking arrangements have been made at two places on Ayodhya to Gonda road, 10 places on NH 27, seven places in Tirtha Kshetra Puram and three places around Karsevak Puram tent city, four places at Ramkatha Mandapam tent city. These parking lots have been built on government, private, and tourism department lands. Apart from this, vehicles will also be parked in the multilevel parking built in Ayodhya Dham.

At the same time, eight parking spaces have been reserved for the police force on NH-27. More than two thousand police vehicles will be parked here.
