Aviation stocks unmoved as Indian Oil Corp hikes ATF prices
State-owned Indian Oil Corp (IOC) on Wednesday hiked the aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by nearly 3% in metro cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.
State-owned Indian Oil Corp (IOC) on Wednesday hiked the aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by nearly 3% in metro cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.
IOC raised ATF prices in Delhi to Rs 46,826.38 per kilolitre from Rs 45,411.18/ kl of previous month.
For other metro cities the price stood – Kolkata's ATF price rises to Rs 51,562.45 (from Rs 50,265.70/ Kl), while Mumbai to Rs 45,933.21/kl (from Rs 44,418.05/ kl) and Chennai to Rs 49,447.19/ kl (from Rs 48,108.95/ kl).
Aviation stocks like Jet Airways, Spicejet and Indigo continued to trade in slight negative or green on BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty.
On BSE, shares of Jet Airways (India) was trading at Rs 487.55, sequentially up by 0.08%. The script opened at Rs 489.90, higher from its previous closing of Rs 487.15.
While shares of SpiceJet remained muted at Rs 58.90 per share.
Shares of InterGlobe Aviation (Indigo) were trading nearly flat from its previous closing at Rs 950.45 per share.
IOC revises the price of ATF every first or second week of month.
