Avengers: Endgame box office collection day 5: As soon as the advance bookings for Marvel's Avengers: Endgame opened, the initial response hinted at a massive opening for the film. But, what has transpired over the last five days has left even the industry experts in shock. After witnessing a historic opening weekend in India, Avengers: Endgame continues to earn big on weekdays too - what some Indian biggies fail to achieve even on weekends and national holidays, this film is earning on working days! The film had earned around Rs 31 crore on Monday and has added another Rs 28 crore to its box office collection on Tuesday, breaching the Rs 200 crore mark within five days of its release.

Film trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel tweeted on Wednesday morning that Avengers: Endgame is already an all time blockbuster. "#AvengersEndgame Tuesday- ₹ 28 cr nett. Total-  ₹ 217 cr. Surpassed ₹ 200 cr nett mark in flat 5 days. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER," he tweeted. 

On Tuesday evening he had tweeted that riot continues at the box office anc there will more shows on Tuesday than Monday. "#AvengersEndame Tuesday- RIOT at the box office continues. Film Tuesday collection is going to be huge again in the range of ₹ 28-30 cr nett. Film is having more shows in Mumbai compared to Monday which was limited due to election. There is No stopping #EndGame," the tweet read.

There could be another jump in the collections on Wednesday due to the Maharashtra Day holiday. 

The film has already surpassed the first week collections of many Indian biggies like Dangal (Rs 197.54 cr), Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 206.04 cr) and Sanju (₹ 202.51 cr). It has also beaten the opening weekend collections of other Hollywood releases of 2019 like Captain Marvel that collected Rs 40.71 cr, Shazam that collected Rs 11.30 cr, Alita: Battle Angel that collected Rs 6.85 cr, How to Train Your Dragon – The Hidden World that collected Rs 6.6 cr, Bumblebee that collected Rs 5.47 cr, The Curse of the Weeping Woman that collected Rs 4.90 cr, Dumbo that collected Rs 4.65 cr, and Hellboy that collected Rs 2.70 cr.
