APPSC Recruitment 2019: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued a notification seeking applications for more than 1000 Grade IV Panchayat Secretary post from eligible candidates on its official website, psc.ap.gov.in. Those who are interested can apply for the posts online on the link made available on the official website. Candidates should know that they have to first register them on APPSC to proceed further to complete the formalities.
According to the APPSC notification, the last date to pay application fee is January 18, while candidates can complete their application process till January 19, 2019.
Interested candidates should first register on the official website through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) and get an OTPR ID. This would be needed to login to their registered account to apply for the Panchayat Secretary post.
Application fee: Candidates need to pay an application/processing fee of Rs 250 along with Rs 80 for the examination fee.
Those candidates who belong to Andhra Pradesh as well as come from SC, ST, BC, PH and Ex-Service Men, Families having household supply white card issued by Civil Supplies Department, AP Government, and unemployed youth categories are not required to pay the examination fee.
Selection process: Candidates have to face a main examination which is likely to be computer-based test, but the state public service commission may change the exams into an offline screening test if the number of applicants exceeds 25,000.
