Anil Singhvi lambasts TCS: Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi lambasted Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) over its discrimination against retail investors and Hindi viewers. He fumed how TCS and other big companies discriminate against Hindi audience. Singhvi said that there should always be a level playing field for retail investors. "Whether you are a small investor, or a big investor, everyone should have equal rights in the market. Every shareholder has full rights and his entitlement cannot be taken away from him," he added.
Here's why Anil Singhvi fumed over attitude of TCS
Anil Singhvi started by giving an example, he said that "these big companies give reports and interviews to English channels in the morning on some big occasion, but Hindi gets this report after two-three hours."
"Even if some companies give interviews, then senior executives don't come. Tata Group did not have this discriminatory attitude earlier, but it's more prevalent now," he added.

He futher noted "I have objection to big giants like TCS that they treat Hindi audience as second-class viewers and second-rate investors. The Tata Group has its own culture. The philanthropic work that this group does, hardly any other company can do that, but it seems that this thought process is not coming down to the grassroots."
Regulators should think of retail investors
Anil Singhvi said that Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Corporate Affairs Ministry should also look into it. It is their responsibility that the retail and other investors of the market get all the information. He noted that if companies continue to treat Hindi audience as second class then it's not good.
