Amul milk price hiked by Rs 2 per litre from today: Here's how much Amul Taaza, Amul Gold, Amul Cow Milk will now cost
Amul Milk Price Hiked: The hiked price is applicable in Delhi-NCR and other regions except for Gujarat. Amul Taaza milk will now cost Rs 54 while Amul Gold Rs 66 per litre.
Amul Milk Price Hiked: Amul milk prices have been hiked by Rs 2 per litre from today, February 3. The increased prices are applicable on all variants for all markets except Gujarat, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited said in a statement. The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) markets its dairy products under the brand name Amul.
“We would like to inform you that price of Amul Pouch Milk (All Variants) has been revised upwards as under w.e.f. 02nd Feb 23 night dispatch (3 Feb'23 Morning)," the company said in a statement.
Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of the Anand-headquartered federation, said "We have increased the milk prices by Rs 2 per litre for markets other than Gujarat, such as Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. As of now, there is no increase in milk prices in Gujarat."
With the increase in prices, one litre pouch of Amul Taaza milk will now cost Rs 54, while one litre of Amul Gold will be sold at Rs 66, the statement said, adding that one litre pouch of cow milk will now cost Rs 56, while Amul A2 buffalo milk pouch will cost Rs 70 from Friday.
