It is not possible to see big moves in market every day. Markets would trade in small range now and one should focus on trading in this small range. Yesterday Donald Trump tweeted saying that he has not lost yet but still market has accepted the fact that Joe Biden is the winner and the U.S. markets didn’t react to his tweet. This implies that market has accepted the fact that Joe Biden is the New President of the U.S.
Markets have also reacted strong on the news of corona vaccine. However to rise up further from here, markets need fresh triggers.
So, markets will be closely monitoring the speech from Joe Biden and understand his views. Also when will the Stimulus come, how much will it be, for which sectors and other details of the stimulus announcements will be important. These factors will not only impact the U.S. markets but also impact the global markets, emerging markets including India. Volatility will definitely reduce from here on. It will be good for market of it consolidates a little from current levels and remains in range until fresh triggers will further drive the market.
Apart from equity market, crude and commodities (gold and silver) market and other metals also witnessed sharp moves in past few sessions. Big moves have happened over here, now they will trade in range.
