After a bomb scare at the Maharishi Valmiki Airport in Ayodhya, an Air India Express plane was landed.

While the airport was put on alert, the district hospital had also been alerted.

While the plane is being checked, efforts are being made to land passengers safely.

"The plane had taken off from Jaipur," PTI quoted airport director Vinod Kumar as saying. He also confirmed the emergency landing of the plane.

Commercial flight operations at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport started earlier this year.
