What if we told you that you could meet your favourite celebrity for Rs 60 lakh? The idea sounds interesting, right? For someone who has that kind of cash to burn, it surely does! Well, that's what a die-hard fan of actress Kajal Aggarwal thought. According to reports in South Indian media, one fan decided to move beyond the traditional ways of meeting her and agreed to pay a whopping amount for the same. A young man from Ramanathapuram came across a website that promised him a face-to-face interaction with the actress who have acted in Bollywood films like Singham and Special 26 too.

The youngster was promised a meeting with the actress for Rs 50,000 and was asked to share this personal details as well. Ramanathapuram did exactly that. But, as it turned out, the website and people operating it were running a scam. They kept asking him for more money on the pretext that they would make him meet the actress. 

Amazingly, that initial sum ended up turning into an astronomical amount. The man actually ended up paying Rs 60 lakh in three installments. As he realised that he is being looted, Ramanathapuram decided to stop paying. The gang threatened to share obscene photos of him on social media platforms. After this, the man was forced to run away. He was found hiding in Kolkata by the police.

On the basis of the complaint filed by the man, police have taken producer Saravanakumar into custody. 

Kajal is one of the most popular faces in the South Indian cinema. The actress had recently celebrated the completion of 10 years of her hit Telugu film, Magadheera, which starred Ram Charan as lead and was helmed by SS Rajamouli. "#10YearsOfMagadheera already!
