- One Aadhaar profile can be active on only one device at a time
- If you create profile on another device by inserting the SIM in another device, the previous profile would become inactive.
- And would be deleted from older device whenever any operation is attempted from that device
Earlier, Aadhaar authority UIDAI through its official Twitter handle @UIDAI had posted an important message for Aadhaar users with respect to their children. UIDAI said your child's Aadhaar requires a mandatory biometric update at age 5 years and again at age 15 years. "Remember to take your child to nearby Aadhaar Kendra for the mandatory biometric update at age 5 years and again at age 15 years. This is important to keep your child's data updated and makes it easy for the child to use Aadhaar when required," Aadhaar tweeted.
Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) through its Twitter handle and website keeps making Indian citizens aware of basic tips on how to carry on matters related to Aadhaar card. Now, in the latest tweet, UIDAI has made citizens aware of the charges you should give for updating one field or multiple fields in your Aadhaar card. Also, they have given a helpline number and site to file online complaints if you were asked to pay more.
