7th pay commission: India Post-Mail Motor Service (MMS) has released notification regarding the recruitment of Professor, Reader, painter and other posts. Interested candidates should apply for the posts on or before December 31, 2018. Selected candidates will be able to draw a salary of Rs 19,900 per month under Level 2 of the 7th Pay Commission (CPC).

The selection of the candidates will be done based on their performance in the interview and Written Test. The applicants must be within the age bracket of 18 to 30 years of age.

A separate application should be sent for each trade post in separate envelope and the candidate should mention the post applied for on the envelope & Application, which should be addressed to The Senior Manager, Mail Motor Services,134-A, S. K. AHIRE MARG, WORLl, MUMBA1400018. It should be sent through Speed Post/Registered Post only. Applications received by other means will be rejected and one application for multiple trades also will be rejected.

India Post Recruitment 2018: Age Limit

Minimum: 21 Years

Maximum: 30 Years

Educational Qualification: 

Candidates applying for the posts must have ITI Certificates or 8th Pass with one year of experience from a recognized university or equivalent. A certificate in the respective trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the Govt is also required.

OR

Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Mechanic (Motorvehicle) should possess a valid Driving Licence to drive Heavy Vehicles.

Pay Scale: 

The selected candidates will be eligible for a monthly payment of Rs 19900 under Level 2 of the 7th Pay Commission (CPC).

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates will be done based on their performance in the Interview and Written Test.

Selection of Skilled Artisans shall be made from, amongst the candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and valid driving license [only for Mechanic (MV)I by means of a Competitive Trade Test. The date and venue of the test with syllabus will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates at their correspondence address. No intimation will be sent in respect of other applicants who are not eligible.
