7th Pay Commission latest news today: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has notified 11 vacancies for the post of Assistant Registrar of Trade Marks and Geographical Indications at the Office of the Controller General of Patents Designs and Trade Marks, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade under the purview of Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Selected candidates will be appointed in Level-11 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The initial salary of the selected candidate will be Rs 67,700, the UPSC notification declares. The Total number of vacancies notified in the UPSC job notification is 11. Out of these 11 vacancies, 6 vacancies are for the Un-reserved or UR category candidates, 2 seats are reserved for the OBC candidates while 1 each for SC, ST and EWS candidates. The candidates will be appointed on a permanent basis in Group 'A' Gazetted rank. Their position will be non-ministerial.

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed in Level 11 in the pay matrix of 7th CPC. Total emoluments (excluding HRA & TA) at the time of initial appointment will be Rs 67,700 plus DA (Dearness Allowance) as applicable per month approximately. The candidate after selection will be given pay scale of Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700.

Age Limit
An applicant should not be exceeding 40 years for General category candidates as on the normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for EWS candidates, not exceeding 45 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates and not exceeding 43 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
