7th Pay Commission latest news today: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from aspirants for the recruitment to various Group A posts under the Directorate of AYUSH, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of NCT of Delhi. The candidates should know that the last date for submission of online recruitment application (ORA) through ORA website is October 17, 2019 (11:59 PM), while the last date for printing of completely submitted online application is October 18, 2019 till 11:59 PM.  Notably, these jobs fall under 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix.

According to the UPSC notification, nine Medical Officer (Ayurveda) posts (SC-03, EWS-01, UR-05) and Four Medical Officer (Unani) posts (SC-01, ST-01, EWS-01, UR-01), will be filled up soon. Of these posts, the details related to qualification and other requirements are given below:

1. Medical Officer (Ayurveda): 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix / Age / responsibility

The candidates should know that these posts are temporary but are expected to continue. Selected candidates will get a 7th Pay Commission Pay Scale of Level-10 + NPA (Revised). The candidates should not exceed the 35 years of age.

Educational Qualifications: The candidates should have Degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University or Statutory State Board/Council of equivalent recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council ACT, 1970 (48 of 1970). Or they should have Enrollment on State Register or Central Register of Ayurveda.

Duties: The candidates should should be able to to diagnose and treat patients in O.P.D./I.P.D; would be involved with administration of Ayurvedic Unit of which he/she is put incharge; They need to attend Health Camps/Melas organized by Government of NCT of Delhi/ Government of India; and they should also be able to perform any other duties assigned by the Director (AYUSH) from time to time. The candidates will be attacked to headquarters at Delhi under Government of NCT of Delhi.

2. Medical Officer (Unani):  7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix / Age / responsibility

The candidates should know that these posts are temporary, but likely to continue. They would get a Pay Scale in Level-10 + NPA (Revised) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC) recommendations. The candidates should not exceed 35 years of age.

Educational Qualifications: The candidates should hold a degree in Unani from a recognized University or Statutory State Board/ Council of equivalent recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council ACT, 1970 (48 of 1970). They should also have enrollment on State Register or Central Register of Unani.

Duties: The candidates should be able to diagnose and treat patients in O.P.D./I.P.D; They need to be involved with the administration of Unani Unit of which he/she is put in-charge; They also need to attend Health Camps/Melas organized by Government of NCT of Delhi/ Government of India; They should also be ready to perform any other duties assigned by the Director (AYUSH) from time to time.

The candidates will be attached with the headquarters in Delhi under Government of NCT of Delhi. The candidates are not required to be involved with any private practice.
