7th Pay Commission Latest News: Forest Survey of India (FSI)  is inviting applications for various positions viz. stenographer, Superintendent, General Central Service. The total number of posts advertised for all the categories are 13.

There is no educational qualification criteria applicable for these posts.

Pay scale as per 7th CPC: Five posts have been announced for the post of stenographer, Grade-I while 8 vacancies have been announced for Superintendent, General Central Service, Group 'B', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial in Level-6 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 35400-112400) of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

FSI is an organisation under the Ministry of Environment,Forests & Climate Change, Government of India. Its principal mandate is to conduct survey and assessment of forest resources in the country. ​
