7th Pay Commission: The good news for these state government employees has come after a long time, but now the celebrations can really start as their demands have finally been met! It has been revealed today that the Haryana government has approved the 7th CPC pay scale recommendations for the teaching and non-teaching staff of government universities, government colleges and government aided colleges.
What is more, this will have retrospective effect and start from January 1, 2016 as per the 7th pay commission report recommendations. Those who will benefit from this 7th pay commission linked order are the teaching and non-teaching employees spanning 2,853 posts in various universities and colleges in Haryana.
Notably, salaries under the 7th pay commission aegis of Assistant professors of universities and colleges would be from Rs 57,700 to 79,800. On the other hand, Associate professors in these institutions would be paid Rs 1,31,400 and professors Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 1,82,200, Finance Minister Abhimanyu revealed.
Salaries of assistant librarian of universities and colleges under 7th pay order regime would be Rs 57,700 to Rs 68,900 and deputy librarian Rs 79,800 to Rs 1,31,400 and librarian Rs 1,44,200.
Finance minister Abhimanyu also revealed that lecturers, physical education in universities and colleges and assistant director of sports department would get Rs 57,700 to Rs 68,900. On the higher end of the scale, deputy director would get Rs 79,800 to Rs 1,31,400 and director would get Rs 1,44,200.
7th CPC salaries of the registrar and controller of examination would be Rs 1,44,200, sub registrar and sub controller of examination Rs 79,800 and assistant registrar and assistant controller of examination are set to receive a pay of Rs 56,100.
7th pay commission pay scale would also be applied to Pro-Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, finance minister Abhimanyu revealed.

The 7th pay commission linked salary hike order will cost the Haryana government treasury an additional Rs 230.6 crore annually. This amount was revealed by state finance minister Abhimanyu via an official release in Chandigarh.
