7th pay commission: Here comes a piece of good news for the aspirants who wish to work with ISRO. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) has invited applications for the post of Scientist and Engineer. The interested and eligible applicants can apply for the posts through the online mode on or before 05 November 2019. ISRO has allotted a total of 21 vacancies for the post of Scientist and Engineer.

7th Pay Commission Pay scale:
For Scientist/Engineer SD the candidates will be offered pay scale as per 7th pay commission, Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700) in the pay matrix.

For Scientist/Engineer SC the candidates will be offered pay scale as per 7th pay commission, Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500) in the pay matrix.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants applying for the post should have a B.Tech/B.E or equivalent should be in 1st class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 scale.

OR

M. Tech/M.E or equivalent should be in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or CGPA/CPI grades of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Age Limit:
As on 05 November 2019 the age limit set is 35 years. Ex-Servicemen, Departmental candidates and Persons With Benchmark Disabilities (PWBDs) are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders. There is no upper age limit.
