7th Pay Commission latest news: CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) has invited applications for the Senior Technical Officer, Technical Assistant and Technician posts. Interested candidates can apply for CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) Recruitment 2020 through the prescribed format on or before 31 January 2020.
7th Pay Commission Pay Scale:
Senior Technical Officer: The selected candidates will be paid as per Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC 67700- 208700 Rs 98,465 respectively.
Technical Assistant: The selected candidates will be paid as per Level-06 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC 35400 - 1,12,400 Rs 51000 respectively.
Technician- The selected candidates will be paid as per Level-02 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC 19900 - 63200 Rs 28,500 respectively.
Age limit:
For Senior Technical Officer the age limit set is 40 years.
For Technical Assistant the age limit set is 28 years.
For Technician the age limit set is 28 years.

Eligibility Criteria:
Senior Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech with 55% marks in the Chemical Technology/Biotechnology/Instrumentation with five years experience in Mass Spectrometry OR M.Sc. with minimum of 55% marks in Biological Sciences/Chemical Sciences with five years experience in Mass Spectrometry.
Technical Assistant: First class B.Sc.(Sci.) with Botany/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biological Sciences/Plant Sciences as one of the subjects with one year full time professional qualification or one year experience in Plant Molecular Biology Techniques from a recognized Institute/Organization/University.
Technician(1): SSC/10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate in Chemical Laboratory Assistant/Quality Assurance Assistant/Fruit and Vegetable processor trade or national/state trade certificate or 02 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the above trades.
