The grand event at Kartavya Path highlighted 'women-led development at Kartavya Path,' contributing to the vision of 'Viksit Bharat' outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 'Nari Shakti' took center stage as women soldiers marched proudly down Kartavya Path on the historic 75th Republic Day.

President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the celebrations by unfurling the national flag at Kartavya Path. President Murmu, alongside French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, arrived in the 'Traditional Buggy,' a tradition revived after 40 years.

The cultural extravaganza at Kartavya Path showcased India's rich cultural diversity, portraying a fusion of artistic expressions from across the country. Themes of Viksit Bharat's cultural diversity and 'Aatmanirbhar' military prowess, along with the dominant theme of 'Nari Shakti,' were showcased in the 90-minute parade.

The parade featured the first-ever all-women contingent of the Armed Forces Medical Services, led by Major Srishti Khullar, reflecting the progressive strides in gender equality. French troops and aircraft, including the Foreign Legion music band, added an international flavor to the "Platinum Republic Day Parade."

The recipients of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar showcased their achievements, and the mechanized column began with the 61 Cavalry led by Maj Yashdeep Ahlawat.

'Aavaahan,' a symphony of Indian musical instruments, set the tone for the grand ceremonial parade, with a distinguished band of 112 women artists symbolizing women's strength.

States and Union Territories displayed their heritage diversity through cultural performances, and the Indian Navy tableau highlighted 'Nari Shakti' and 'Atmanirbharta.' The Indian Space Research Organization's tableau featured Chandrayaan-3's launch and successful moon landing.

The Republic Day parade also highlighted themes such as 'Empowering Women through Employment in Ladakh's Journey,' 'Transforming School Education' in Andhra Pradesh, and the Bugun Community Reserve under 'Viksit Bharat.'

A motorcycle display by Central Armed Police women's personnel showcased the bravery of Indian women across the nation. The awe-evoking air show concluded the parade, featuring acrobatics by Indian Air Force pilots and a total of 54 aircraft, including French contributions.

After the parade's conclusion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi walked down the ceremonial boulevard of Kartavya Path, waving to spectators, marking the end of the spectacular 'Platinum Republic Day' function.
